Shavings from secondary mills can contain glue, wood filler, varnish, polyurethane, paint, sealant, and all kinds of potentially harmful chemicals that can cause illness or allergic reaction. We know that your animals live on our shavings, and we know how important pure and natural bedding is to their health.

Rosebud's shavings come from primary sawmills that use raw saw logs to make untreated boards and lumber. They do not use chemicals, so there are no chemicals in their shavings. We compress our bales with 3,000 pounds of pressure so they take up less storage space and stack easily.
